The Balearic island of Mallorca is host to one of the largest IRONMAN 70.3 events. A fast course with scenic Spanish villages and ocean views.
1.9km swim in the Bay of Alcudia, followed by a single lap 90km hilly bike taking in the Col de Fememia and Col de la Batalla and 21.1km three loop flat run along the beach front in Alcudia.
Organised by Mid-Devon Cycling Club, the Dartmoor Classic Grande Sportive is 107 miles and takes in some of the well known Dartmoor climbs.
The ride starts and finishes in Newton Abbot, with an elevation gain of 2777m and a maximum gradient of 20%. There is a closed road hill climb at mile 81.

The run starts at Okehampton, passes through Postbridge and finishes in Ivybridge. It is mainly across wild areas of open moor.
