Welcome to Gear Change's

Business & Social Walk Series

Join us for a series of free guided monthly walks on Dartmoor from April through to September.  Enjoy the benefit of being outside and make some new business connections.


The walks will start at 2pm on a Friday in the Okehampton area and last around 2 hours, starting and finishing at a local coffee shop or pub.

Walk 1 - 26 April

Sourton Tors

We will meet at the Pump & Pedal cafe and set off for a 1.5 to 2 hour circular social walk taking in Sourton Tors, before returning for coffee and cake at the cafe. 

Route

The walk will be around 6km with an elevation of 200m. The terrain will include a mixture of asphalt and moorland. Walking boots are recommend.

Walk 2 - 24 May

Belstone Tor

We will meet at the Belstone Village Car Park and set off for a 1.5 to 2 hour circular social walk in and around Belstone Tor before returning for coffee or beer at The Tors pub.

Route

The walk will be circular and the terrain will include a mixture of asphalt, trails and moorland. Walking boots are recommend.

Walk 3 - 28 June

Haytor

We will meet at the National Park Visitor Centre and set off for a 2 hour circular social walk.

Fernworthy Reservoir

We will meet at the Fernworthy Reservoir Car Park and set off for a 2 hour social walk picking up the Two Moors Way and taking in Bennetts Cross.
